There are two types of masteries: Weapon Mastery and Armor Mastery.


After character creation is finished, the default masteries are Dual Wielding and Light Armor for Cunning, Dueling and Medium Armor for Prowess, and, Two Handed and Heavy Armor for Fortitude. They are all level 1 masteries.

Weapon Mastery[edit | edit source]

There are 3 different Weapon Masteries: Dueling, Two Handed and Dual Wielding. Player can learn Weapon Mastery by talking to NPC Trainer Takeda. Each grade of mastery requires Karma to upgrade. Each Weapon mastery provides bonus if player has equipped corresponding weapon.


Dueling: Focus on precision, skill and lethality.

Increases Critical Damage when using a single One-Handed Weapon.


Two Handed: Sweeping, powerful blows disorient enemies.

Increases chance of stunning when using a Two-Handed Weapon.


Dual Wielding: Savage assaults executed with lightning speed.

Increases attack speed when dual wielding weapons.

Armor Mastery[edit | edit source]

There are 3 different Armor Masteries: Heavy Armor, Medium Armor and Light Armor. Player can learn Armor Mastery by talking to NPC Trainer Takeda. Each grade of mastery requires Karma to upgrade. Each Armor Mastery provides bonus if player has equipped corresponding armor.


Heavy Armor: Channel great stamina to recover from wounds.

Increases Health Regen for each piece of Heavy Armor equipped.


Medium Armor: Outclass your opponents with a balanced approach.

Increases Energy Regen for each piece of Medium Armor equipped.


Light Armor: Puts a swift spring in your step.

Increases Movement Speed for each piece of Light Armor equipped.
